Eaton Car Accident Today: Three Young Adults Killed and Two Injured in Northern Colorado Crash

Three young adults, including two people from Eaton, Colorado, were killed and two others were injured after a serious single-vehicle rollover crash in Weld County on Saturday evening. The fatal collision occurred at approximately 5:18 p.m. near Weld County Road 80 and Weld County Road 39, east of Ault, according to the Colorado State Patrol.

Investigators said a Chevrolet Tahoe was traveling westbound on Weld County Road 80 when it left the roadway and entered a ditch.

The vehicle then re-entered the road, lost control, and rolled several times.

All five occupants were thrown from the SUV during the crash.

Three passengers were pronounced dead at the scene. The victims included two young men from Eaton, ages 19 and 20, as well as a 19-year-old from Greeley.

A 20-year-old man from Wyoming who was driving the SUV was transported to a hospital and remained in critical condition.

A fifth passenger, a 19-year-old from Eaton, suffered minor injuries.

Speed Investigated as Possible Factor

The Colorado State Patrol is investigating the crash through its Vehicular Crimes Unit.
